Researcher participates in Forschungsdialog at Universität Münster

Prof. Dr. Ana Larissa Adorno Marciotto Oliveira, a researcher in the Impolidez Digital project, participated in the Forschungsdialog promoted by the Department of Educational Sciences and Social Sciences at Universität Münster, Germany.
The event, titled “Controversial Topics in (Digital) Public Spheres – What is fueling debates today, and what role does academia play in this?”, was held on June 25, 2026, and brought together researchers to discuss the topics shaping contemporary public debates, especially in digital environments.
The discussion featured Ana Larissa Oliveira, Helena Stehle, and Tobias Albrecht, with moderation by Julia Metag and Florian Wintterlin. The dialogue addressed the role of academia in the face of polarized debates, discursive disputes, and public controversies that cut across contemporary societies.
This participation strengthens the international presence of the Impolidez Digital project in discussions on language, public spheres, polarization, verbal aggression, and the circulation of discourse in digital environments, expanding dialogue with researchers from different fields and institutions.
