Professor Ana Larissa Adorno Marciotto Oliveira presented the work “Linguistic inclusiveness and equality: Discursive struggles over gender and LGBT+ rights in Brazil” at the event Language, Gender and Democracy: Perspectives from Galicia and Brazil in Dialogue, held at the Romanisches Seminar of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, in Germany. The presentation was part of an international dialogue on language, democracy and rights, focusing on discursive disputes surrounding gender and LGBT+ rights in the Brazilian context.
